"America is strongest when we engage with the world," Treasury Secretary Yellen said as she accepted the Atlantic Council's 2023 Global Citizen Award in New York. "We witnessed the determination of the Ukrainian people as they fought for their lives (...) and we knew we had to support them with a decisive response," she added.
