CONDOLEEZZA RICE ON AMERICA’S ROLE IN THE WORLD AND THE PERILS OF ISOLATIONISM - The Atlantic Council hosted an #ACFrontPage conversation featuring former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to discuss the United States’ global role and the critical foreign policy challenges awaiting the next US president. This special edition of Atlantic Council Front Page took place at the Global Future Forum in New York City on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
Ahead of the 2024 US elections, Rice, who served in the George W. Bush administration as national security advisor and secretary of state, joined the Atlantic Council to share her foreign policy recommendations for the next administration. She highlighted the dangers of isolationism and the critical role of sustained US leadership in maintaining a rules-based international order amid renewed strategic competition and global challenges.
