Why President Trump should be less "timid" than Biden on arming Ukraine

Ukraine is now firing US and British-supplied long-range missiles deeper into Russia, after a reversal in policy from the Biden administration.
The Atlantic Council’s John Herbst, a former US ambassador to Ukraine, says the US policy shift is coming “unnecessarily late”, but it could help Ukraine counter North Korean troops in Russia and have more leverage in any upcoming peace negotiations.
Herbst believes that President Joe Biden has been “timid” when it came to arming Ukraine because he was worried about crossing Kremlin 'red lines.' But the West has now crossed several of these 'red lines' with little consequence, and Herbst believes this will be no exception.
