UKRAINE’S HUMAN CAPITAL AND THE FOUNDATIONS OF RECOVERY AND LONG-TERM SECURITY - Join the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center for an expert discussion on strengthening Ukraine’s human capital to help secure a durable peace.
As Ukraine defends its sovereignty from Russian aggression and plans for recovery and reconstruction, its most strategic asset is its people. Russia’s war has accelerated demographic pressures, disrupted education and social services, and created a new generation of veterans and others deeply affected by the conflict. Durable peace will require leveraging Ukraine’s resilience, digital innovation, and civil society leadership to expand economic opportunities, support education, and reintegrate veterans.
This expert panel will examine why human capital is essential to Ukraine’s national security, economic recovery, and democratic future.
