NATO AT 75: AN ALLIANCE FOR A SAFER WORLD - April 4, 2024, marks 75 years since 12 countries signed the Washington Treaty, which established the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). This is a moment to celebrate the world’s largest and most successful military alliance, but also a time to take stock of the geopolitical turbulence facing the transatlantic community and transformation needed to ensure NATO and its constituent members are fit-for-purpose in an era of increasing strategic competition.

This event is part of the Transatlantic Security Initiative’s 2024 NATO Washington Summit campaign.
