PRESIDENT IRFAAN ALI ON GUYANA’S EMERGING ROLE AS A GLOBAL LEADER - Guyana is rapidly emerging as a regional and global leader. The country’s growing energy sector, track record of protecting its environment, and role in strengthening food security for the Caribbean have catapulted Guyana into spotlight. With this growing international platform, opportunities exist to shape global decision making and outcomes from world events.
Ali will discuss plans to expand Guyana’s leadership and influence worldwide, in the hopes of cementing a place for itself and other Small Island Developing States on the global stage.
