Please join the Atlantic Council’s Indo-Pacific Security Initiative (IPSI), housed in the Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security, for a virtual seminar on Central and Eastern European relations with Taiwan, just ahead of the 2024 presidential elections in Taiwan.

An expert panel of speakers share their insights in a discussion on the strategically important and growing relationships of Central and Eastern European countries with Taiwan.

This event is part of the Atlantic Council’s efforts to promote sharing of perspectives on important national security issues among European, Indo-Pacific, and US experts. It builds upon insights from the Atlantic Council’s senior delegation trip to Taiwan in August 2023, led by former President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė, which included Markus Garlauskas. This event is part of the Atlantic Council’s Cross-Strait Seminar Series, held in partnership with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States (TECRO), a premier platform for informing the public debate on issues of importance for Taiwan and the United States.
