A CONVERSATION WITH THE BALTIC PRESIDENTS - Russia’s unprovoked war in Ukraine will have momentous consequences for the transatlantic community and security and defense architecture in Europe for years to come. Eighteen years after the accession of the Baltic states to NATO, Estonian President Alar Karis, Latvian President Egils Levits, and Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda joined the Atlantic Council to outline their views on the current situation in Ukraine, its implications for European security, and how NATO should adapt to respond to a fundamentally changed relationship with Russia.
The Scowcroft Center’s Transatlantic Security Initiative presented this live event as part of the Atlantic Council’s #ACFrontPage event series, our premier ideas platform spotlighting global leaders and championing constructive solutions to global challenges.
