UNLOCKING ARGENTINA’S POTENTIAL THROUGH THE ANDES-ATLANTIC CORRIDOR - Join the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center (AALAC) for a conversation on the future of US-Argentina relations and the Andes-Atlantic Corridor.
In September, the United States and Argentina launched the Andes-Atlantic Corridor, which aims to connect the Vaca Muerta energy basin and Argentina’s critical-mineral-rich northwest to Atlantic ports and Western markets. The US Export-Import Bank (EXIM) has signed a framework to mobilize up to seven billion dollars in financing through 2027 for energy, critical minerals, digital connectivity, and other priority sectors. This discussion features EXIM Chairman John Jovanovic and explores how the Andes-Atlantic Corridor can translate into concrete projects and investment, as well as the wider regional implications.
This event is part of AALAC’s Argentina Economic Growth Accelerator and builds on the center’s ongoing work on US-Argentina economic relations, investment, and energy security. It also follows AALAC’s recent engagement in Neuquén, where public- and private-sector leaders from Argentina and the United States discussed investment, financing, and the next phase of Vaca Muerta’s development.
