Ahead of Brazil and Morocco’s June 13 World Cup matchup, this special embassy dialogue will explore the future of Brazil-Morocco relations, with a focus on Brazil’s storied World Cup legacy and Morocco’s upcoming landmark role as a co-host of the 2030 FIFA World Cup. The series is part of the Atlantic Council’s Power of Sports Program, which leverages major global events to advance diplomacy and development during the broader US “decade of sports,” as the country prepares to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the 2028 Summer Olympics, and the 2034 Winter Olympics.
